Overview

The family of renowned photographer Bill Groethe asked me to create a memorial graphic for his fundraiser backers. Bill Groethe was a renowned photographer whose work has been published and featured throughout Rapid City, SD with his notable works of the preliminary construction of the iconic Mount Rushmore.

Groethe, a notable photographer and successful photography business owner, ran one of the last standing film development studios, as well as photograph many families traditions, events, and portraits over the years. Aside his iconic works he often spent time with his family and shooting the many phases of the moon in the Black Hills of Rapid City, South Dakota.
